At Luminosa Photography, I specialise in capturing your little one’s milestones with relaxed, beautiful baby photography in Leeds. Whether you missed newborn portraits or are ready to celebrate your baby’s first smile, first sit, or first birthday, I’m here to help you freeze those fleeting moments in time.
Sessions take place in my welcoming home studio in Leeds, designed with comfort and safety in mind. I work gently and patiently, following your baby’s cues to create natural, timeless images you’ll treasure forever.
MILESTONE SESSIONS TO SUIT YOUR BABY
No two babies are alike, and every session is guided by your child’s age and personality. Popular baby photography sessions include:
Tummy Time (3-5 months) – Capture early smiles and wide-eyed wonder.
Sitter Sessions (6-9 months) – When your baby can sit unaided, we create portraits full of charm and character.
First Birthday Shoots (12 months) – Celebrate with a classic milestone portrait or a simple cake smash.
Props and soft textures are used to highlight your baby’s personality, while keeping the focus on natural expressions and connection.

We have had 2 photoshoots with Lizzie since our daughter was born and can’t recommend her highly enough! We have really enjoyed both shoots, she always manages to make our daughter smile and the photos are just wonderful. We will definitely be back in the future!

YOUR QUESTIONS
What age is best to come?
I would say anytime from 6 months, when babies can sit up?.. if they can’t sit unaided, it’s no problem as I have props we can pop them into to support them.
Do I need to bring outfits?
If you have a particular outfit you would like them photographed in, then please do bring it along. I do have a small selection of cute ones to choose from and just a nappy covered in a wrap can look stunning too!
Do you do cake smashes?
I offer birthday milestone sessions but I don’t currently offer a service which provides a cake. You are more than welcome to bring your own along if this is what you have in mind?…just let me know in advance so I can have the little bath ready for afterwards!
Can siblings come too?
These are shorter sessions which tend to focus on just your little one…I am of course happy to accommodate brothers and sisters but if you want parents including too, then a slightly longer family session might suit you better.
